ABOUT JOHN
I discovered exercising as a youngster playing sports at the local YMCA. This foundation of activity, fitness and athletics continued through high school and college, where I majored in Physical Education and Exercise Physiology. My love of sports and fitness led me to the sport of bicycle racing and mountain biking. While recovering from a bad fall, I was introduced to Physical Therapy and the rehabilitation method of Pilates. This form of body awareness and exercise inspired me to pursue a career helping others achieve their own personal goals through simple mat based movements.
With these simple concepts in mind, I started my own personal training business and for the last 20 years have been teaching exercises focused on: posture awareness, muscular balance and flexibility, core conditioning, and multi-functional training, and the use of foam rollers, fits balls and flex bands.
Helping others feel great and achieve their physical fitness goals is my passion.
Whatever specific goal or particular interest my clients may have, I strive to assist them to discover their own path to physical fitness, body, awareness, and optimal health.
